The Sachs X-Road gets a stunning new 250CC 6-speed engine. This combines with a light weight of 267 lbs to produce an agile and responsive motorcycle that is ideally suited to novice riders. Effective stopping power is delivered by a 320mm front hydraulic disc brake, backed up by a 215mm hydraulic unit at the rear.

Off-road style bikes are popular with learner riders, not only because of their appearance but also because their wide handlebars and upright riding position give learners a feeling of confidence and control. Sachs have chosen to equip the X-Road with 17" wheels front and rear, fitted with relatively fat road style tires for optimum road holding.
